Product description
The Deviser AE1001 is an ultraportable, lightweight OTDR (optical time-domain reflectometer) for measuring and locating faults on optical fibers in FTTx networks. It features a 4.3-inch touchscreen readable in both bright and low light conditions.
The unit measures at wavelengths of 1310 and 1550 nm, with a dynamic range of 26/24 dB and a dead zone under 3 meters. Fast dual-wavelength measurement delivers results in at most 5 seconds, with good stability and repeatability. A 2500 mAh lithium-ion battery provides over 4 hours of continuous operation, and 16 GB of memory stores more than 160,000 OTDR traces. Beyond OTDR, the device supports an optical power meter, light source and VFL modules.
