Product description

The Deviser TC500 is a cable validation tester. It consists of a main and a remote unit, allowing cable testing even when the cable ends are in different rooms. Multiple interfaces cover various cable types: RJ45 connector for UTP/STP network cables, F connector for coaxial, RJ11 for telephone cables and banana jacks for bare twisted pairs. The tester validates wiring maps, wire length, identifies open circuits, short circuits, miswiring and split pairs. It also includes a tone generator for cable tracing, PING and BER testing, and supports ISO/IEC 11801. Internal memory stores over 100 test results, and included software enables data transfer to a computer for reporting.
