Rubicon Kevlar Scissors

Optical cables are often reinforced with aramid fibers, commonly known as Kevlar, which are difficult to cut with ordinary scissors. These scissors are designed specifically for cutting Kevlar. The blades are made from steel alloyed with carbon, molybdenum and vanadium, making them durable and able to cut through aramid reinforcement easily and quickly. This allows clean cable preparation for splicing, without fraying or shredding the reinforcement.
