Product description

The Pro'sKit 8PK-326 is a fiber optic stripping tool with three cutting holes. Preparing a fiber for splicing or connectorization requires removing three protective layers, and each hole on this tool is designed for one layer. The largest hole strips the outer jacket (1.6 to 3 mm) to reveal the 600 to 900 µm buffer tube. The middle hole strips the buffer to expose the 250 µm primary coating. The smallest hole strips the coating to expose the bare 125 µm glass fiber. The holes are factory-calibrated with no adjustment needed, and the blades are manufactured to tight tolerances to avoid scratching or nicking the glass. The body is S50C steel at 48±2 HRC hardness. The handles are ergonomic with a comfortable grip, and a locking mechanism keeps the pliers closed when not in use. Overall length is 148 mm at 0.15 kg.
