Fusion Splicer Tumtec V9 MINI

The Tumtec V9 mini is a compact core-alignment fusion splicer with six motors, suitable for demanding backbone fiber work. It relies on a digital core analysis and alignment system (DACAS) with a precision V-groove guide and automatic fiber type recognition. The unit runs on an industrial quad-core processor clocked at approximately 1.4 GHz. It features a 4.3-inch color LED touchscreen with 480x magnification for clear fiber inspection. Average splice time is 6 seconds and heat-shrink time is 15 seconds. The 5200 mAh battery provides approximately 250 splice-and-heat cycles. The splicer handles SM, MM, DS and NZDS fibers with cladding diameters from 80 to 150 µm, measures 130 × 170 × 170 mm and weighs 1.93 kg with battery.
