PON Power Meter FF-3213

The FirstFiber FF-3213 is a handheld PON optical power meter, compact and low-loss, intended for testing, installation and maintenance of FTTx PON networks. It supports APON, BPON, EPON and GPON networks. The device has two output ports, one for the ONU side and one for the OLT and video side, allowing simultaneous monitoring of upstream and downstream traffic. It supports CW and burst upstream signals at 1310 nm and downstream signals at 1490 and 1550 nm. The pass/fail threshold test function classifies readings as pass, warning or fail, so the technician immediately sees whether signal levels are within acceptable limits; normal measurement mode is also available. The unit has large result storage capacity and a built-in USB port for data transfer. The compact housing fits comfortably in hand and is easy to carry in the field.
